TREKKING TO MINDFULNESS AND SELF DEVELOPMENT:
An exert from the book:
I spent the next few years practicing Tai Chi and chi Kung and connecting to the spiritual masters and mixing them up.
When I was 50 I hurt my back and damaged my lower vertebra the doc’s were telling me that I would be in a wheel chair: this was never going to be my destiny! Not with my background!
I thought, this is where I start to put into practice, all that I have learnt and get back on my feet, I started on the mindfulness, self development and self-healing. It took awhile but eventually it worked, I straightened my posture out.
I had learnt a lot about energy with the Tai chi and I did my own research on it, to see if it could give me any answers, about how this stuff worked, it lead me to physics and science, I did not know enough about this subject, it restricted my progress.
I read books by Paul Davis and then I got hold of Jude Curravans’ book called ‘The Wave’, these gave me an understanding of the way the energy works in the universe, I remember thinking, that with all this energy stuff and the Tai chi, I could heal my inner traumas, as well as my physical self.
I found Gregg Braden’s books, Deepak Chopre, Lynne Mc Tagget, Ervin Laszlo, ‘The Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot, ‘Infinite Potential’ by David Bohn ‘What the bleep Do you know’ and ‘Breaking The Habit Of Being Yourself’ By Dr Joe Dispenza.
I looked at the work of Peter Russell, Karl Pribram, and Roger Penrose; the latest one is ‘Cosmic Hologram’ By Jude Currivan.
My thinking was, that I could learn how it worked, then apply it to self-healing and self-development
These books; opened me up to another world of energies; imagination and dreaming, I had always been told was not REAL and did not count, but actually these things were counting, much more to me than the things that were being told, by the media.
Everything in the universe is interconnected energy vibrating at different frequencies.
It has been published and is on Amazon in paper back or ebook. I hope you like it. Thanks Barbara.
